SOULTEES

Hello, my name is Shondrieka A. Alexander, and I'm a screen printer. My service is to render image printing on t- shirts comprised of differentiating colors and sizes. My interest in learning about my history is what led to my involvement with this industry.

 

I've developed a deeper relationship with African/African-American History over the years which peaked my interest in seeing my own culture on apparel. This is comprised not only of the history I didn't live, but my past which is also a chronicle I reflect upon. The memories of family and friends are images that I, as well as others, cherish; which an idea came to mind to print those images on what we wear.

 

The moments and turning points in my life are significant because this is what made me who I am. I want to remember every single moment and never forget them. Others now have that same opportunity through printing their history, visions, thoughts, and ideas on their very own T-Shirt from Soultees.
